2022 GMS Rosé

91 points

Bright and lively, the 2022 Sin Banderas Rose comes from the Yakima Valley and blends Grenache, Mourvedre, and Syrah. Soft and round on the mouth, this offers pink bubblegum, red raspberry and wet stone character on the palate. Bone dry, with bright acidity, enjoy this beauty now in its youth while the sense of tension remains intact. Drink 2023-2027

2022 Riesling

92 points

Really good, the 2022 Sin Banderas Riesling is another outstanding release from this great value producer. Made in the Trocken style, with a soft texture, this shows ripe peach, wet gravel, and green apple flavors. This is absolutely killer stuff that would pair beautifully with sushi. Drink 2023-2028

Syrah Mourvedre
Blend

91 points

Inky in the glass, the 2019 Sin Banderas Red Wine is a Yakima Valley blend of mostly Syrah (67%) with the remainder Mourvedre. Black tea, iodine, exotic spices and creme de violette all parade on the nose. The palate is medium to full-bodied and is filled with black fruits, salty tones and plenty of tension. Refined to consume now, enjoy this beautiful wine over the next eight to ten years. Drink 2022-2030

Port-style
Dessert Wine

92 points

A Port-style wine from Yakima Valley made with Syrah and Mourvedre. Finally released, this wine weighs in at 18% alcohol and shows brilliant range on the nose from Christmas spice and bergamot notes alongside brandied cherry and suggestions of creosote. The palate is very well-balanced with a soft mouthfeel and a great mineral-backbone. I have very little doubt that this wine will get better and better as it ages. Try to resist this beauty for another year and enjoy over the next ten to fifteen years. Drink 2023-2035
