2021 Syrah Mourvèdre Blend

We are so excited to release our 7th consecutive vintage of Syrah-Mourvedre! This vintage is comprised of 57% Syrah and 43% Mourvèdre and was aged in 100% French oak, 29% of which were new barrels. 
 
Opening with aromas of mountain blackberries and smoked meats, this dark and full-bodied blend shows wonderful spicy, dark chocolate tones that lead into a deep core of dark fruits. On the palate,  hints of pepper and coffee grounds mingle harmoniously with flavors of juicy dark cherries and pomegranate. Silky tannins and a soft texture echo with depth in the neatly structured body and produce a balanced finish with lingering tones of boysenberry and just a hint of tobacco.
